I love me some Tom Binns something fierce. Especially his neon collection. But in all reality, this ladycakes doesn’t make enough to drop $500 on one of his lovelies. Especially considering I’ve got a wedding to save for…

Enter, DIY bloggerinas Glitter n Glue and the Hyperbalist who turn super inexpensive crystal necklaces into something Tom Binns inspired. Be sure to checkout the DIY tutorials. It’s amazing what a little nail polish can accomplish.

I love these, in this very medieval sort of way. Maybe they double as miniature meat tenderizers??

[Thanks to my blogger pal at Craven Maven for turning me on to this designer!]

Remember that darling rose gold and black diamond eternity band from my second engagement ring roundup? Welp, that was the handiwork of the Houston-based design studio, ila&i.

I got the inside scoop on their newest collection of baubles…feast your eyes on these beauts. Since I obviously have a thing for rose gold and black diamonds, I’m especially drawn to the first arrow necklace below.

Arrow to the heart? Yes, please. And happy Monday.

So after much whining and nagging on my end, and lots of patience and focus on the bf’s fame+frippery 2.0 has been born! All my images are HUGE…including this one. Incidentally I showed this snap to KB, and he replied “isn’t that a bit racy?” Um..no! What says new launch better than a contortionist in a sequin bikini and go-go boots on a shag rug with a typewriter?

Enjoy!!! And while you’re at it, give a girl some feedback? As my thanks, I’m hosting my very first giveaway. I’ve got five pairs of these babies up for grabs.

{above} vintage flower baubles and filagree drop earrings (note: color and style of flower bauble varies)

Here’s the deal. For your chance to win these f+f originals, do one (or both) of the following:

    1. Post a comment telling me what you think of the new site design and why you want these earrings.
    2. Tweet this post!

Winners will be selected Wednesday the 12th, so good luck!

Being that I am a total vamp-geek: I’m currently lapping up True Blood (heart Alan Ball) and Eclipse was finally released via Netflix earlier this month (sort of painful, btw), my stumbling upon Ball & Chain’s garlic clove necklace was ironically well placed.

Notice the two little red stones and the “bite mark” placement. So clever…

Ball & Chain hails from Brooklyn’s very own Redhook. Checkout more items over at Etsy. She’s got an array of goods you’ll want to sink your teeth into (bad pun, i know…i know…) Will this necklace keep me from getting sick this winter too? Lawdy, I hope so!
