Remember that widely accepted baby blue and brown combo from years past (seemingly the Jonathan Adler enthusiasts of the world still can’t seem to get away from)? I want to blame this paired monstrosity on Pantone, but who knows if they’re really at fault. After all, people (and their propensity for new trends) are like lemmings right?
This year Pantone announced the 2011 color of the year was this lovely shade of pink. Fellow blogger pal Elizabeth Nolan Brown couldn’t have summarized her thoughts on said vomitus-pink better. She surveyed her friend base* for what I think it a pretty damn good take on what ridiculosities will be hot in 2011. Not to mention, enbrown puts my writing to (serious) shame. In dexterous comparison, I feel like my dad using two index fingers to type an email…
