Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is an amazing organization I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved with the past two years I’ve worked at OXO. Each year OXO hosts a giant bake sale in the Starrett Lehigh building (home to Martha, Tommy Hilfiger, Bodum, and a range of other bigtime companies) that raises money for pediatric cancer research. The past two years have been a huge success. In fact, we raised a little shy of 30K last year when OXO and Glad’s corporate matches were taken into account. Certainly a sizable chunk of change, all for a great cause!!!

We’re revving up for the 3rd annual OXO/Glad/Cookies for Kids’ Cancer bake sale (to be held October 7th & 8th), and being that I’m the newly appointed Bakery Donations Chairperson, I’m reaching out to friends and friends of friends who may have bakery connections, personally want to bake or may just want to drop by the day of the event to purchase a sweet or two. 

No donation is too small!! As our thanks, donating bakeries (and persons) will have their logo/names prominently displayed on our sponsors wall. Because, a little free advertising never hurts!
