This dog is my hero. Maybe in my next life I’ll get over my dachshund obsession, and move on to chinese cresteds. They’re practically the embodiment of the beautiful grotesque.

From Russia with Love
I saw a pair of these Russian felt boots on a girl in the ‘burg years ago. They’re called Valenki and are a national symbol of Russian heritage, boasting foot-warming capabilities in 40 below weather.
I think I need a pair. Loving that little rubber shoe-cap-jobby that slips over the toe for water protection. Deep puddle splashing probably not a great idea unless the idea of soggy...
